A 64-bit OS and processor are required. The minimum GPU is modest for a 3D city builder, but the 8 GB RAM floor is the part to watch on older laptops.
Can my PC run it? Quick checklist
- Desktop GPU from ~2018 or later (GTX 1660 Super / RX 5600 XT or better): You meet the minimum. Expect playable framerates at 1080p.
- 16 GB RAM or more: You'll hit the recommended bar comfortably.
- Integrated graphics only (no dedicated GPU): Risky — none of the listed minimum GPUs are integrated. An iGPU-only machine will likely struggle with a dense, fully-built haven.
- Older quad-core CPU with 8 GB RAM: Meets the listed minimum, but a late-game colony with many paths and ships may stutter. 16 GB is the safer target.
Laptop notes
Many thin-and-light laptops ship 8 GB RAM — right at the minimum. If you're on 8 GB, expect stutter or slower late-game performance; the GPU is less often the bottleneck than memory here. An SSD is recommended, and the 30 GB install is a full 3D city builder rather than a minimalist indie.
Controllers & input
Corsair Cove is a mouse-and-keyboard strategy game with a bird's-eye / isometric view. It is built for pointer-and-keyboard input; there is no requirement for a controller.
Platforms
Corsair Cove is PC-only at launch: Steam, the Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store, and PC Game Pass on day one. It is verified as Playable on Steam Deck. It is not on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, or Xbox consoles.
