A pirate-themed vertical city builder from the makers of historical strategy games. Carve a haven into cliff-faces, run sprawling production chains, raise a fleet, and keep the Golden Age of Piracy alive against the Crown.

Why this game is worth a guide right now — public signals only, no speculation.
Corsair Cove launched day-one on PC Game Pass and rode a large pre-launch wishlist into a strong first month. As a logistics-first city builder with a distinctive vertical twist, it has a long tail of "how do I keep my crew fed / my paths efficient" searches — exactly the gaps this guide fills.
The core idea, in plain English.
Corsair Cove is a single-player strategy game about building tall, not wide. You wash up on an island dominated by a skull-shaped mountain and sheer cliffs, and you must turn it into a self-sufficient pirate haven. Flat ground is scarce, so you build onto cliff-faces and hilltops, stitching levels together with rope bridges, cranes, elevators, and ziplines. The real challenge is logistics: every good is carried by your crew, and every extra level adds travel cost.
Beyond the island, you launch ships on expeditions, raid neighbouring islands, and fight the Crown's pirate hunters in turn-based, card-and-dice naval combat. Progression runs along four pillars — Notoriety, Empire, Seafaring, and Wealth — and completing all five Principle Quests under any one pillar wins the game.

Quick answers to the most common player questions.
No. It is a single-player city builder and management game focused on building and expanding your own pirate settlement. There is no co-op or competitive multiplayer.
PC only: Steam, the Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store, and PC Game Pass on day one. It is not on PlayStation, Switch, or Xbox consoles.
Most players invest dozens of hours. A full win means finishing all five Principle Quests under one of the four pillars, and the four paths differ enough to support multiple runs.
The minimum GPU is a GTX 1660 Super or RX 5600 XT with 8 GB RAM; the bigger watch-item is the 8 GB RAM floor on older laptops. See the requirements page.
